RESPONSIBILITY

We ALL agree Slavery was one of, if not the, greatest blemishes staining of the United States of America, a country literally founded on the principle that ALL men and women are created equal.   MonumenD explicitly and publicly affirms our identity as an anti-racist organization. We firmly believe there is no place for intolerance of any kind to any race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or any other differentiator, in our hearts or minds, and any utterance or action which promotes or even tolerates such is to be rejected.

Specific to controversial monuments, MonumenD works diligently to remain a neutral arbiter with regard to the politics and emotions associated with this controversial matter.  We are adamant in this position in order to qualify to be a mediator to facilitate solutions acceptable to both sides of the discussion… and YES we believe a positive outcome for both sides in this matter is achievable.

Our goal is to work to be the most efficient solution to facilitate both the desires of those calling for changes to current locations (and existence) of these memorials, while also safeguarding and protecting the physical monuments on behalf of the original stakeholders.

Moreover, we strive to be the best value to the owners, municipalities, or government entities to ensure that everyone, all citizens, get the best value for their tax dollars, something we all should be able to agree on.
