MonumenD is uniquely qualified to undertake monument restorations where substantial damage has occurred.  Because of our association with CarveWorks, we have access to world-class custom stone carving.  We are experienced in making detailed repairs, often while the statue remains in place.   Using 3D scanning technology, we can scan the damaged area and rebuild the missing elements in the computer.   We also employ techniques that involve filling in a damaged area with soft clay and then scanning the restoration.  The replacement piece is carved, finished to match, and then spliced into the original statue.  Great pains are taken to match the original stone, blending techniques are used to create an undetectable repair.

We also work closely with foundries throughout the Southern United States.  We have access to experienced bronze artists and foundrymen who work with us to fix existing bronze statuary.
